Two pre-Pub17 chestplates dissapeared from my inventory (they used to have 35k condition). They reapeared and now they have 170k condition. Are these new normal stats and it just got converted, or am I in possetion of some really rare and special armour?

they are in those amounts because you have helmet/chest and possibly arm pieces in one piece. Add them up and you usually have a worse piece than if youhad the condition on them in singles

What if you don't break them down?
Does it have the 170 condition?
Maybe I'm confused with that response.

You can't take it apart, it's a chestplate that covers head, chest and shoulders. The devs explicitly wrote on the pub 17 patch notes that it would be possible to split these chestplates up in order to use them with cybernetic arms using a radial menu. But they didn't implement it. So as it is now, it's a 170k condition chestplate.
Looking at the Armoursmith skilltree, there is no schematic for any Wookiee helmet. I can see that there are bracers there now, this is new. So what would the total condition of 2 bracers and 1 chestplate be? Maybe around 100-110k. Does that make my chestplate special?

A little. I think currently the chestplates have around 70k condition.

they broke it up so when you craft the armor there is a chest&helm piece and 4 arm pieces

My black mountain chestplates have around 92k condition, so I guess if you add another 46+46 to that, (biceps), your armor is not that unusual.
Edited: I obviously cannot do simple mathmatics /embarassed

My chest was 132k with some embarrassingly crappy resources so I doubt it is anything too special. It's meant to make up for the amount of area that one piece covers ( chest, helm, and two biceps ). If you split it up at 40k each piece, that's about right. ( 4x40k = 160k ).
