Just can't eem to find the answers I am looking for. Hopefully an Armor Master here can hook me up with info.
My template requires Recon based armor.
Now before I go out and waste money and waste good AA's. can someone provide me with protection levels for teh various armors of the Recon class.
Highest Energy per class
Highest Kinetic per class
Highest Base Balance per class
Also I am having clothes problems. But beofre the armor ones begin, what armor is allowed to be used with Cybernetic arms. Example: Can a ubese jacket be worn?
Also if Recon armor is crafted with a health bonus, is this lost when having a cybernetic arm?
Thank for the help.

As for cybernetics and recon armor, you only have one choice: tantel. Tantel is a nine-piece suit so you can wear a separate chest plate, which you can't do with ubese and mabari.
A seperate health bonus can be crafted into each piece. A +350 suit has seven pieces each with a +50 bonus. If you want to use cybernetic arms, you'll give up two pieces (a potential of +100 health) per arm.
The stat cap for unlayeredrecon armor (someone correct me if I'm wrong) is 7000 energy 5000 kinetic 6000 special protection. Doesn't matter if it's tantel, ubese, or mabari. Layered with energy layers would be a max of 8000 energy 4000 kinetic. Layered with kinetic layers would be a max of 6000 across the board, just like battle armor.
I'm not sure about the caps with primus layers (+500 to kin and energy, -1000 to protection), which boost both kinetic and energy resistance at the expense of special protection, but they are just about the only layers I use. I don't think they are worth it, but some people like big numbers and big price tags, even if they are only buying 4 pecent more damage reduction.

Pretty good answer pykescylla,
Minor correction, energy/kinetic layers add max 100 per layer, 4 layers per segment, 3 segments per adv core so a total of 1200. Hence energy cap for fully layered energy recon is 8200, 3788 kinetic, 6000 elemental.
Primus layers add max 50 per layer so a total of 600. Hence energy cap for fully primus recon is 7600, 5600 kinetic, 5388 elemental.
The layers actually reduce the opposite by 1 more than they add, so an energy layer is say 95 energy, -96 kinetic and hence that is why the kinetic on energy layered and elemental on primus layered is 12 less.

Thanks, I haven't paid much attention to the exact numbers. Good point about reminding people that the negative effect of a layer is greater than the positive. I'm still of the opinion that layers are not worth it in most cases. Primus layers are okay, but that's about it for me. I'm not into creating big numbers just for the sake big numbers.

I use kinetic/energy layers to accent the weakness in assault / recon, but other than that Id agree theyre pretty useless. It's usually primus layers for me as well. However, with the resource costs for layers none of them are really worth making anymore.

non wook/Ithorians have more than the tantal option if they are going for the 9 peice suit
factional armors,they areall the rage,
also most use inorganics (imperials) and get get much much higher condition (65-70k) than tantal that uses crappy avian bones (40k)
