hi can anyone please explaine me what a workshop is?

Main Entry: work·shop
Function: noun
1 : a small establishment where manufacturing or handicrafts are carried on.

In SWG it would be a house with a crafting station and where you most likely store your resources so you have easy access to them when crafting.
