yes you need them for the ris segments,

the peko peko feathers are only required for feathered appearance, which enhances the segment

(also feathered appearance can be used in normal armour)

apart from that you need titanium alum, chanlon int ore for segments and polysteel copper, laboi mineral gems and oridium int ore for featheard appearance.

PC = Price check, how much these go for the open market. I know they are marketable, hence, the price check.

Depends on server ect but 500k-2mil for the GDK scales and maybe 50k for the others would be my guess.

on startsider I can get Gdk scales for one million, Gurk Hide for 100k. 50K for the peko feathers and Wollymander bone. Funny thing is, no one will buy RIS at the price I have to charge if I buy tose drops. Harvesting them myself I can sell the suit for about8 million, and it's all profit I dont understand why anyone would pay that much for a GDK acale, as easy as they are to get.

well i bought 9 of each of them except the peko feathers for 5 mil total on my server got the armour made for 1 mil 6 mil for a set of RIS which i consider to be a great deal on any server

gurk king hides are rare drops, exceedingly more than any of RIS components. Crazy how they are going for least on your servers. Right now GDKs are running about 800k each on Flurry at the most and sometimes you can get 1mil. The price is definitly lowering though.

gurk king hides arent really that rare, as long as you know where to look. And they are a little easier to get solo than the GDK scales. I think the reason for the lower price is that a lot of people find them in the process of gurk huntingfor hides or xp... while there is only one reason to fight the Kimo.

Any gurk spawn that has the following will pop a Recursive Hide:

1 or two feral gurks, and a couple of gurk/whelps. Almost always these will pop a king. I generally hit them up while looking for GDK's and can pull in at least 20 GKH with every GDK hunt.

There are a lot of different things people say to look for on the gurk lairs to get the king.. I will tell you what has worked for me. Look for a wild gurk spawn in a nest with at least one feral gurk outside and it willspawn a gurk king at the explosion prior to the one that destroys it. They may come from other spawns, but I have had 100% luck on these. Make sure it just says it is a nest, not a gurk lair.. If it is labeled a gurk lair, it is someones mission... If it is any kind of lair other than a nest, i haven't had good luck with it.

Also remember that you may have to kill quite a few before one drops hide.. but you may also hit two in a row sometimes. It is all random... I believe I have heard 1 in 12 as the most commonly accepted ratio... but thats one in 12 every time. Not one guaranteed for every 12 you kill. If you are seeing gurk king at all, just be patient, you will eventually get a drop. They generally drop in stacks of 6 or 7.

Got any WPs for GKH? I have one camp in Lok (the hut) but thats it. I would really appreciate a few more loc's... that respawn is killing me.
