Sup all,
In light of all our craped out bugs and stuff I want to look back on the nearing 2 YEARS this game has been out.So here is a few fun questions to look back on the success over the years (for those of use old enough to say that) Just have fun and brag away 
1) How long have you been an Armorsmith?
2) Have you ever held 1 BILLION credits on your toon at one time?
3) How many credits do you think you have made since you became an AS?
4) How many customers did you want to kill from anoying questions/request?

2) Yes 3 seperat times
3) Total since July 03....6-7 Billion at least
4) Jee let me think... Quite a few lol
5) humm... Several hundred thousands, maybe close to a million? who knows I have made alot lol

6) Yes several times, Get tired of crafting is the main reason
7) I Miss 90% armor but that was way to over powered lol, and I LOVE the money

From October 2004 - May 2005
2) Have you ever held 1 BILLION credits on your toon at one time?
Nope never.
3) How many credits do you think you have made since you became an AS?
Likely 100M, 65M of that coming from the period before and after the CURB when no one was making armor but me.
4) How many customers did you want to kill from anoying questions/request?
Very few - I was more of an RIS specialist, and the people who sought me out were mostly educated buyers.
5) How many suits of armor do you think you have made since you became an AS?
I'd say 350, 280 of that coming from the only big run of armor I ever did, a month prior to the CURB. I loved to hand craft, so most of my stuff was based on order only.
6)Have you ever thought about giving up AS? If so why?
Yes, and I did. Ultimately, I got into the profession because I wanted to be hands on in the creation of my RIS armor. What I found was a rewarding profession that takes a lot of work, and will drive you broke grinding it, but will pay off dividends, if you are smart about it. I gave it up because ultimately, I was unprepared for the CURB resources, and decided that I had my fill of armor crafting.
7) What do you miss or love about being an AS?
Crafting RIS in the old system was very fun, and it became my first love. I ended up being best on the server at it in terms of quality and price according to my clients(although some of the other RIS smiths at the time disagreed, because they were afraid to lose business to me). I always was available to make RIS, and was very hands on, customer service oriented, and dropped whatever I was doing to head back to my city and make someone a suit. And while I was crafting, you could feel the anticipation of the client, have fun with friendly banter, and have a fun time. I remember this one gentleman who came in with a friend, and had an order of 15 RIS suits for his PA. He had the parts and everything, and I ended up making 15 80/80 RIS that day. I think that is the part I truly loved about AS, was the RIS crafting. Once the system was simplified, I just couldn't justify the resource hunting.
I may not be a totally natural crafter type (Before October, I tried on 3 separate occasions to become an AS and got completely bored out of my mind), but I would not trade the experience for ANYTHING. It has given me a greater understanding and appreciation for the men and women who make our armor... even if I don't always agree with them...... :smileywink:

around 4 billion atleast i think , 300 mil since CU hit live

many , many , many ... too many

thousands i would guess , 4k pices of armors since CU

never !! i LOVE it!!!!!!!

i miss lack of use of my 12point suit :/ , i love just to be AS and the tag is cool too

Started in July, 2003. Hit master sometime in early September, since I sold, gave away, or used everything I made to grind.

Heh, nope. I spend credits on resources, loots, etc, about as quickly as I make 'em. I generally try to keep around 300M+ as cash, though it's continually creeping up with all the post-CURB sales.

Probably slightly over a billion, total.

Maybe about 20. Sometimes I actually got to follow through on killing them in PvP. Nothing like clone-camping an annoying customer.

1,500 - 2,000 ... maybe more ...

Ironhead Armor has been in continuous operation since July, 2003, though I've used three different toons as the armorsmith. So technically, I've given it up twice, but I had a pretty good reason ...
7) What do you miss or love about being an AS?
Making a valued and needed productof the highest quality, then getting the tells / emails of praise. The cash benefits aren't bad, either.

7) I miss being able to find the science in armor crafting, fineding new and much better ways to craft armor to keep on the cutting edge.
I dont like this 1 line crap that any 10 pointer can hit with good resources.
I so long for the days where there was sooo mcuh you could do to and with armor that you could blow peoples minds on that new product and sell 200 suits the first week.
I miss some of my crowning achievements in RIS, some of that armor was a spectical to behold, super low ham, amazing stats, and I miss that everyone could wear RIS 
too bad there was not a "Generic" armor class lol that anyone could wear with a novice elite prof. Thats what Battle should be, generic class, its a good all around armor so it fits

2) Nope
3) Uh quite abit though I have never had more then 30 mil at a time on me
4)Never wanted to kill them...wanted quite a few to stop sending me tells though
5) oh likley around 1000+ at least...small operation for an AS at it for a year and a half
6) Yes...I become so bogged down nowadays btwn resource hunting (through froums and vendors) and handcrafting and answering questions that I never have time to do anything else in game..good thing I love being an AS
8) I miss lower factory times, more experimentation, having the factories make the colors I want, etc.

Although I'm not an old time AS on the US/Euro servers, I'm an old-timer on my server. (read below)

Since January, 2005 on the Japanese Katana server (it went live around Christmas 2004).
2) Have you ever held 1 BILLION credits on your toon at one time?
Nope, the server's only been live for 5 1/2 months.
3) How many credits do you think you have made since you became an AS?
About 300M.
4) How many customers did you want to kill from anoying questions/request?
Not too many, since most of them ask nicely.
5) How many suits of armor do you think you have made cince you became an AS?
Somethinglike 500-600 sets.

Yes, after the CU (self-explanitory).
7) What do you miss or love about being an AS?
RIS crafting is nice since only about 3 AS's onmy server can make decent stuff.
Mine is around 6500 EK with 97K con. Pretty much server cap except for con whichcan go slightlyover 100K with better resources.
Also, I was the only AS that was able tomake huge factory runs oftriple-80 EEK onthe Katanaserver before the CU.
I had to use the absolute very best resources to ever spawn to hit this mark on Chests.
It was the first time peeps on the server saw such armor and Ithink I had an impact on howthey saw Armor and Armorsmithing after that.
Pretty much everyone I spoke to after loading my vendors with this was in awe and never complained spending 700K a set. IT SOLD FAST!!! LOL
It felt really good. hehe

That's a good question... at least a year. My Tailor to Armorsmith transition kind of blurs together.
2) Have you ever held 1 BILLION credits on your toon at one time?
Sorry, I never give out specific financial information. (Some people get the notion that you should pay more if you have more. I guess they don't realize that a person doesn't end up with more by overpaying. )

I know there has been some but I can't think of anyone at the moment. I've never worn my tag so I think that helps.

Not sure if I count cause I got most/all my money from everything but armor crafting

3) About 100 mill
4) 2 as an AS, as other profs, many more
5) Roughly 600
6) I already have
7) Miss some of the comradery, although I still talk to JZ, Rocky and newcomers lots.
