Hello, Ive been camping the static spawn for 4 hours or more and nothing dropped, not even junk. The rest of the planet seems frozen, didnt see any other kimo in the rest of the planet, in the molt chaos, every single part and even the most seen waypoints. Any of you out there who hunt Giant kimogila scales can throw some hope ? Thanks

I looted a stack of 8 on intrepid not 5 minutes ago...just a bad spell I'm guessing as the 20 I killed prior dropped nothing except a stack of cores.

Drops are and never were guaranteed.

Try killing 50 or more of them before worrying.

My personal drop average is about 5% or 1 in 20.

I've had dry spells of 50+ too.

Don't give up and eventually it'll drop.

And what about the random spawns? I didnt see one in all the night, and a group came some mins ago asking because they didnt find any single random spawn in the volcano mountain or in the rest of the planet Camping a 10 mins spawn so many times is really time consuming.

Really depends on the night, and if the volcano is already spawned up or not...try over by the canyon corsairs as well, I've found quite a few there.

We havnt been seeing any on Naritus for a good while now.. only the 1 in kimo town.. If we go towards the volcano, and anywhere in the south, theres "NO" creatures at all....

I know they are out there, I loot over 30 GDK scales a week. Just takes persistence...if they aren't at the volcano, they likely won't be the 3 hours a person would spend circling it...try the whole southern end of lok, you'll find them eventually, maybe even a spawn of 5.

Random spawns seem to differ each server reset, if you ask me.

Sometimes, you'd find hundreds of GDK but not a single Black Sun, Kimo or Goraxor whatever.

Sometimes, you'd findno GDK buta swarm of Black Suns, Kimos or Goraxor whatever.

What I usually do is if I can't find any *specific mob* in the first hour or so, I just go hunt some other high end mob and come back in a few days.

Good idea, I like that....nothing is more frustrating that wasting hours after a specific mob that the server just isn't gonna give ya

I can't find wild GDKs to save my life. It'd make more sense to just do missions and try buying them with the credits.

Just keep going at them - I was very lucky on my first hunt ever (last week) - I got 4 stacks (27 total) off 8 or 9 kimos.

I support the NGE - NOT!
