ok, i know this may differ from server to server, but i thought i'd ask and check to see if there is any 'pattern' ...

when selling armour....how do you sell it? in full sets in a backpack? or as seperate pieces?

and which method of selling goes down best with the customers?

...the reason i ask, is cause i would like to know the pattern of buyers before i place all my armour on my vendors before the 'big opening' .... best to know imo

I just dumpnormal armorpiece by piece.

Helms and Legging sell the best.

Chestplates are a bit behind, but they also sell pretty good.

Biceps and Bracers are much harder to sell.

Gloves and Boots almost never sell, unless you notice the buyer wants a full set.

For Faction, I sell in backpacks.

Simply because the schematics are 10 use and I don't want to go back to the recruiter just to pick up 1 schematic.

I use 5 vendors.

3 for Recon, Battle and Assault - 1 each.

1 for Faction and RIS.

1 for leftover pre-CU stuff (cheap composite pieces along with gloves, boots, and belts with sockets)

I find this the easiestfor the customers to find what they need.

I sell both ways, about 70% of all pieces goes into packs, the rest on the vendor as pieces.

Im guessing a lot of people search the bazaar for armour pieces, and dont always look for backpacks full of stuff. Once im up and producing ill be putting armour pieces on seperatly to lure people into my shop I hope.

Hoiers Enala ...

quick input from my side: i decided to not stock whole suits on the Vendor and that out of a couple reasons:

i got fed up with my vendor getting emptyied out overnight and got bored of trying to hold up to the demand.

Instead i started to sell only suits on order / walkins .. this works great: i have time to meet the desired customerwishes (NameTag, Colours, different types of Armorskins in a suit, etc.) and actually have fun talking to my customers; explaining the possible layering and where it makes sense to use what type of armour.....

Also like that the nooooooooooooooobs dont even show up because they cant be bothered with a bit of conversation, RP or just decent chatter ...

So all i put on my vendor are a few single pieces that had a bad final assembly..... in that case i keep the demand, number of peeps telling / emailing at a minimum and i get to actually find more fun again whilest crafting single preordered sets....

hope this helps
