Kind of an 'odd' question for you guys. I'll do the best I can to explain this, but chances are it'll come across more like a riddle
Here goes...based on the information I've read on the forums (Hopefully its correct)...
1) Your armor is only as good as the worst piece. Is this true? So, for example, if my composite armor helmet has lousy stats, and the rest of my armor has fabulous stats....does this mean that the other armor pieces only protect as good as the helmet (the worst piece)?
2) When the condition of your armor decreases below 50%, the stats begin to drop? If this is true...is this stat drop 'visible' or 'invisible' to the user (In other words, you can't see the stat drop when examining the armor piece but you will indeed no longer be getting full protection).
3) Given Numbers (1) and (2) above, what happens if you buy a new suit of composite armor, for example, and the helmet takes LOADS of damage but the rest of the armor, for whatever reason, doesn't get hit much. Does this mean that when the helmet drops below 50% condition....even though the rest of the armor is fine....because of (1) and (2) above...the rest of the armor will no longer protect as well because it only protects as well as the worst piece?
4) Again, Given (1) and (2) above....if you have a nice set of armor but NOT alot of ADK's to go throwing around...is it advisable to ADK just the helmet, chest, and legs? Or....would (3) above end up hurting you. Would the arm pieces eventually drop in condition, lose protection, and thus your ADK'd helmet and such would no longer protect properly.
5) Given the above, would it be advisable to Impact Resistance Slice the arms of a suit of armor...thus allowing them to stand up better to a beating and last longer....and then....Armor Break slice the head, chest, and legs....and then ADK that same head, chest, and legs to make a nice suit last longer? Or...will any of the above conditions come back to haunt you?
6) Given that the health enhancers now work on armor (At least, so I'm told)....does it make THAT much of a difference? Just on Monday I received a brand spankin' new set of RIS armor which is quad primus and very nice
My smith did a great job and it looks fabulous. I had it max impact resist sliced so that it would last the longest. Is it really going to be worthwhile for me to go have yet ANOTHER suit contracted now that these health enhancers work? And...if I did that...this time around....should I use (5) above to plan my ADK's and slicing differently?
Thankyou all very kindly for any help and advice you have to offer

We had some extensive tests of the armor last week and the conclusion was that it does NOT default all pieces to the lowest resists (as some thought), but depends on the piece that the shot is mitigated too. Since all the other questions depends on the assumption it does lower the resists, all the others are false also...I'll see if I can find the other thread where they tested this....

Bumped it and highlighted where a piece with a lower stat was hit, and differed from the rest.
