Love that search. Some days you could have just typed "grind" in there and gotten what you needed. Yesterday I tried it with "armor." It looked at me and said, "Never heard of it."

Nope, tried it that way, too! I was looking for the previous armor/armour post.

Thx for the links
All good links...kudos. None of thosethreads help though as far as what order to get what skills. If you want to move fast and money is not an object...stick with grinding cores and concentrate on the technique line as that will give you far greater success and experimentation points.
If you don't want to break the bank (like me)...grind practice cores until 3000 then practice ubese shirts to get your technique line up.
Be wary of grinding (i.e. practicing) ubese shirts though...the entertainer buff doesn't give you any extra xp. I may start a thread on this...because I haven't noticed anyone saying this is a bug. Does anybody know something I don't about this part of the system? After all, I didn't find out until a few weeks ago that practicing actually gave me an xp bonus (doh!)
I digress...
Personally, I don't see the point in worrying about the layers or deflectors lines until you've maxed your technique and appearances. The armor you can make won't sell for much till you get at least to technique three and throw some experimentation at the items.
