Thread: Quick fix for BH armor bracer

Yep I crafted a full suit an all i did was this. For the final stage of crafting the left bracer I put a period at the end of the name. The craft came out as a left bracer. So if you rename it , it should work right. It did for me.

Well, that was inspired. What made you think to do that? So you just name it "Joe Bob's Left BH Bracer." and it turns out fine?

When I crafted the right bracer it came out a right bracer. I read about the bug so I figured I would use this old trickon the bugged piece an poof a vets gut paid off 
Or maybe it was random lol im going to make another suit here in a few. So i will make sure.

Ok can we say ownage.. Nah just did a left an right bracer an bicep , added a period during the color stage an everything came out fine. 2 times in a row counts as a fix i think or does it ?

Count it as a workaround. I'd hate to think that we're going to have to go around "fixing" things for SOE. Nice find.

this doesn't fix the problem. i had to go through4 bracers last night to get a right one, and i always rename my armor to have a {VA} on the end.
the best way to tell what piece of armor it is is to watch the system message when you learn the schematic. i had a schematic that said left bracer on the item itself, however, when i clicked learn on the schematic, the system message said i had learned the schematic for a right bracer, and sure enough, when i crafted it, it turned out to be a right bracer.

So you're saying the schematic is simply labeled incorrectly?

I recall seeing a post recently made by a member of the DEV team which mentioned these were incoreectly named.

They just craft opposite of what they are labeled - ihave made several suits and this is always the case.

Hmm, interesting.
I'm gonna have to check on this later tonight.
