Bought some 39% energy 48% base with lightsaber from someone and sliced to %63, could probably get %68 on the best slice...That's freaking insane. Does the lightsaber resist actually work? If so, lol poor jedi

Yes, but PSGs are buged so that resist may be working one min and not working the next.

Two days ago I tested it. I had a PSG sliced fresh from the crate. It had lightsaber resistance after the slice but shifted out normally later.

I just looked at the ones I sliced a day later. Lightsaber has dissapeared from them? Sigh, so buggy. Wish they would fix them

Doesn't matter if they are sliced or not, the LS % will shift to vuln eventually. It's a known bug.

LS resists will also shift when traded to another player or purchased from a vendor. The only way to buy LS resist PSGs from a vendor is to buy them in a crate and uncrate it yourself. Of course you can't get it sliced because after it's sliced and traded back to you the LS resists are gone. I have not yet tried putting it in a backpack and trading it, putting it in a droid and trading the droid or dropping it in a house and having another person pick it up.

the LS resist shifting is not a bug. it was never designed to be on a psg. so if it shifts to vulnerbilities then its where its suppose to be. my best advice is to keep it crated till u need it then equip it. it will stick in the base as long as u keep playing. the minute u log its gone. so consider it a one time use.

from the FAQ up top
10. My psg doesn't work, it isn't offering any better protection what is going on? what about stat shifting?
Psgs work, but they are a little tricky if you don't know what is going on. Sometimes psgs "don't work" and don't offering any protection and last forever. This is usually caused when you shuttle, log out, or cross server boundries. Unquipt it, than reequipt it, should work fine. Taking shuttle, logging or crossing server boundries can also cause the stats to shift. Good advice is to leave it in the crate till you are ready to use it, then pull it out and equipt it
Yes stats shift, in particular Light Saber resists WILL shift out.

Um, Thunderheart himself said that PSGs are supposed to have LS resists and that it is a known bug that they are working on.

not necessarily true
remember when they nerfed all those pets in the CH nerfs? why are there still lvl 1 and lvl 0 pets now?
there are numerous ways to keep LS in base when shuttling and when logging. Some consider it an exploit so I won't post here. Personally I do not think it is, since devs know LS appear on psgs
