Thread: Crafting Stun Armour

I mastered AS (on eclipse) about a month ago and can now make 80% kinetic 70% base armour. I am about to start making my first set of stun armour but by my calculations the best i can get is 63% base and 36% stun. My question is, is this even worth making or are the stats to low.
Also the best stats of crism spawns according to swgcraft are really low (569OQ 172SR). These seem to have really low OQ and SR values and are what i have based my calculations on. AS helper suggests values as high as 974 OQ (carbisorupoic) are available. Am i missing something here or has eclipse never had a decent spawn of crism.
Any help much appreciated.

could just be eclipse hasn't seen a good spawn. on kauri, we have had 2 spawns of 999 oq crism and 1 or 2 others over 900 oq. it's all server specific though.
as far as will it sell, anything will sell if you price it right. check out what the other smith's on your server are making compared to what you are making, and adjust your price accordingly.

tempest is in the same boat with no good crism spawns. Crism is naturally gated at a very low SR resistance, which is cleverly designed to keep in control the overall quality of stun layers and stun armor in general.
People generally want a stun rating above 30% and as high as base as possible, but some are looking for just plain high as stun as possible. I'd suggest playing around with it a bit, and not making large runs until you become a 12 point smith and a better crism ore spawns.

I use Orih but you really need Quadeuteomafsis and tefeebi to hit 40% stun on Comp for eclipse

Thanks for the tip - that seems to make more sense. I predict Ican hit 39%stun with 63%base with those materials.

well if it makes you feel any better, the best kiirium we've seen is only 842/570, and thatwas about a year ago
that alone is preventing us from hitting 72 base on triple layered kinetic.

Ok, I feel better
Ours is 985/576... I think Shadowfire also has some of the best RIS resources, so I shouldn't complain about anything.

Im still waiting for a uber spawn. :-D I only have 300k of Iraut left(the best the server has)
