I've been selling Chitin armor since I was AS 3002. I only make enough pieces for about 3 suits a day (all about 35% kinetic 12% other resists), and theyall sell by theend of theday on the bazaar.
Chest/helmet 6k, leggings and boots 5k, everything else 3k. It's not much, but I'm not always broke, either, and the resources are easy to get. Sell in Mos Eisley, Naboo and Coronet--the newbie cities, where players have not learned how to go from one planet to another. This should make you enough credits to get resources to keep grinding Mabari chestplates.
You can sell Ubese on the bazaar but you're kinda fluffed by the 6k cap, unless you just want to sell bracers, boots and gloves. I don't have the skill points left to go merchant, so I've stuck to bazaar with some success.

You can not compete with the established and 12 pointer armorsmiths. Accept that and move on...
now that we covered that
, start by making mab armor and sell to newbies. Find a niche like bone or chitin.
If you can get the hide, do cheap padded.
or find a wookie armor type (black mountain or ceremonial) as I dont see many selling these.

Been selling Chitin since 1002, and Ubese since 3004
Then it's the long hard drag as you cannot make it any better till Master
Good luck

I think you should start selling armor. Start small, don't make any large factory runs. Hand craft some suits. Composite are probably hard to do good but start with some ubese or mabari armor. Sell cheap and you'll get at least some money. You could start selling stuff on the bazaar and continue grinding to master.
You could try to get 4104 so you can make both energy and kinetic layers, which are important.
Keep an eye on swgcraft.com and track down good resources needed.
