I dont really have the best materials so this is currently the best I can make

what I am making is advanced composite with the following stats

Special Protection

Kenetic 80%

electricity 64%

stun 11%

Effectivness

energy 57%

blast 57%

restraint 57%

heat 57%

acid 57%

cold 57%

vulnurebility

NONE

enc is 81/78/83

this is all on a pair of composite gloves

whats your opinions on this is this a viable set I know with better resources

I could have better effectiveness

It's nice for a good start. Try to get the base percentage higher to around 60%. I suppose you don't care for hams? If so, put more stun layers in.

Care to tell more stats about the layers and segments?

well my main concernwas gettiing rid of the stun vulneribility while have the kenetic as high as possible

I cant really remmber off the top of my head but i think the segment had 25% to eff 26 to kenetic and 11to stun

I am currently waiting for better spawns of the colat kirrium and polysteel my resource currently only have a oq+sr of about 1300-1400 I am hoping we have a good shift soon

The 11% will not make much difference to Jawa Ion Rifles (AP1) but it will cut in half all other stun weapons in the game, including the new geo stun pistol (all AP0)

So yes, the layer is worth it for that...

11% while it will remove the general vulnerability will not go as far as you think vs. a good krayt jawa. This is particularly problematic given the recent upsurge in these weapons especially on my server.

I would recommend for a triple layer stun and shooting for a high base over 60%. Kinetic is less of an issue in PvP these days given the new foods especially vs. KD and therefore I am tending to disagree with triple layered kinetic suits in PvP. A good 60-65% on the kinetic or any other will give you sufficient protection on these stats pre-slice. Not to mention an effectiveness slice is going to deliver on average 75-77% bases on average anyhow.

Also, with the new food and drinks HAM has become a fairly small factor for many professions. I can even say this as a carbine user (fyi it's a HAM intensive weapon pre-food and buff).

Maybe look for 2-3% on the segment base while aiming for a max out on the special resist for stun X3?

Just some thoughts as an extensive PvPer and part-time armorsmith.

11% stun would block 11% of the damage from jawa's wouldn't it? (ap1 vs ar1)

I was thinking when I got into composite (if I ever get better resources ) that I would include a stun layer with as low hams as possible, just to get stun off of the vuln list.

And if they ever fix ap1 vs ar0 to actually do extra damage having any stun protection at all would be a bonus just for that.

what do you think a fair price would be for a suit of this I was selling 80%kenetic 48% base for 300k I wonder if I should up the price a little on this

That's really galaxy subjective. On bria I've been seeing 74% ubese go for 300k. I havn't even looked into composite pricing.

Yes, an 11% stun layer would block 11% from a Jawa. and 55.5% from the other AP0 stun weapons.......

but since AP vs. vunerability is borked, the Jawa user doesn't get the advantage of25% more damage there, so vs. a non stun-layered suit, it is only an 11% difference (not the 31%differencethatshould occur vs. a vunerability). That isn't really enough to justify the heavy stun layer IMO. Wear a PSG instead. you can get those up to 30% stun and 0 encumberance. If you are heavy into PvP, this isn't really a big cost problem.

On a side note....a minimum 4% stun layer would block 4% of the damage from a Jawa (only 7 points less for every 100 taken than these 11% layers) and would still block 52% from the stun-baton/tangle/genosian weapons ( 3.5 points less for every 100 damage taken). You could make this layer with max base (4%)or low HAM (1/1/1), and get most of the advantages of a stun layer, without the downsides. This is the way to go in my opinion.

just having a layer prevents a jawa gun from hitting with a bonus due to a hole in your armor.
