Thread: Theoretical Maximum Composite Base armor segments...

I know this info has been put together before, but I can't find it (what with the frickin search feature broken as usual)


Can you guys help me out with the following Theoretical Maximum stats for Composite Armor?


Assuming 1000 Shock Resistance and 1000 OQ on all materials used:


1. What is the Maximum Base protection % for non-layered, non-advanced composite segment armor? (40% seems to ring a bell anyone, anyone?)


2.The Maximum Base protection % for non-layered, Advanced comp segment armor? 60% confirms Aildiin!


3. What is the Maximum Base protection % for Layered, Advanced composite segment armor? 75%? Says Arem!


I have been doing some extensive research on the materials/properties of resources involved in Crafting Composite and verification/knowledge of these maximums would be greatly appreciated.

I did some research on the math behind theexperimentation function of composite and RIS some time ago, post is there somewhere...

I just remember the theoretical base effectiveness limit of 3-layered Composite is 75%. In this calculation I already considered the natural resource caps of certain resources.

Non layered advanced should be 60%.


triple layer adding a maximum of 15% this confirm the 75% layered advanced cap...

And lowest ham on layers is 0/0/0, I know cause I finally reached it yesterday

Anyone know the theoretical caloric intake difference to lose a pound a day based on non sedintary activity?
