The other component is Yavin Leather. I think this is the DEV's attempt to get people on those planets more, lets face it, they are the two that most people avoid for some reason.....

I think you're right....Wookies must have evolved from Ewoks. Some crazy old republic scientist must have transplanted them to Kashyyyk 20,000 years ago. The trees there are a lot taller, so only the really tall Ewoks could climb to the lower branches. The ones that couldn't did not survive. Generation after Generation, the taller Ewoks out-survived the short ones, until we ended up with 7 foot tall furballs.

It would be a great planet but, to be honest, I dont think they can do it just yet. It would require massive (miles high) trees coveringthe whole planet. So much so that you cannot see the sky from the ground. There are many "levels"where trees are so close, and branches interwoven that you can walk through it like on ground.It would be an extremely high level planet as well because the only "safe" places are the cities the wookies have built way way up in those trees. (many really nasty enemies in the deeper levels.)
I think the graphical resources for that planet would kill modern systems.. I only hope that one day they can get it into the game.
