Thread: Does anyone know if wookie armor can be sliced??

Haven't seen this subject touched on. Mine really needs some slicing done to it.

why wouldn't it? i'm not sure why you're confused...
the down side is that since the base resists are somewhat low, slicing has less of an overall effect...

Well the guy that sold me my set told me that he heard it couldn't be sliced. I just wanted to confirm it here since the armorsmiths would know.

It CAN be sliced. I just got mine sliced, had a 31% encum slice on the chesplate. Quite happy about that.

You could slice it. But if you get a resistance slice it won't affect the Kinetic % , maybe thats what he meant.

I'm recommending to most of my customers they not bother with getting their wookiee armor sliced. Most of the sliceable resists are in the 20's which means a 6 point improvement at best. Most of the encumbrances are low enough that a wookiee can wear a set without the need for buffs or a slice. Finally with the cond being in the low to mid 20k's and it seems to decay a bit on the fast side slicing only increases the speed items decay.. Or at least so I've been told... So that's my .02.
