Actually, did you ever say in that other thread where you went to get them? Can you only get them off the high level ones? Weren't you using 4% ones?
This piece was made from 3% hides and you can get them off any Janta I think.
The acid one was madeon theone day crafting patch. Actually have 3 of those.

They were 100% exp layers from the crafting patch. Did not know any other way to get 90%. I would had prefered acid lilke the other, but I used up all the good layers.
I felt the same way about it too.
I try to always use elect for my high base layers is why I asked. Then nothing gets stuck at 80% except elect which can't be changed anyway.
Congrats on the slice! I had to make about 5 suits of high base with stun to get a suit of eff sliced.
