Pure adrenalized excitement! OmpLoompa here with the report on Wookiee Armor from the rare Wookiee Armorsmith.

I agree, the first armor looks better than the concept. The second armor....I have a few questions on.

Will it require the 'horn' resource that I believe is only available on Talus?

Again what are the stats? Suppose I could get my lazy self onto test center and try it out.

Will the 2nd armor provide a melee attack bonus? Those horns look formidible, perhaps an Intimidate bonus? If not an outright attack mode.

It looks like the Helm/Chest is even more attached than the first set. The comment about Wookiee's attaching trophy's of prior kills is very interesting. How or If that aspect is incorperated I would like to know. The Horns look like that from the Bol Skull Trophy you can get from Matt Baggs in Mos Espa. I hope that is not a required resource/trophy. I want my durni pelt, or kreetle leg attachment.

Perhaps this wil herald new loot content that Wookiee's can attach to their armor, perhaps similar to clothing attachments ( oh I dred the wookiee loot campers to be..)

Im expecting the hides to be scaly or bristly, with a wooly lining. A bit more metal perhaps at a guess.

Overall Im salavating at this armor. Ive only played a Wookiee and upon donning my first suit and going into battle I marveld at how it absorbed damage that was directed at me. I now realise how often people will need to replace armor or at least repair it. This has allowed me a valuable insight into my customer's needs thus making me a better producer of goods. Ill definitely provide an armor repair kit on my vendor, lol.

If this is the next set of armor, I cannot imagine what a Wookiee composite type would look like. With the Wookiee technology/tree hugging engineering I imagine a cross between a Terminator and an Ent. Id call it a power suit, a Wookiee Hermetically Augmented Technosuit or WHAT??

I auctually think the armors are great. No I do not believe it messes with continuity, as no one has complained about the composite garbed masses destroying any semblence of continuity in SWG, don't say anything about the Wookiee's.

Complaints: When can we add layers to it? Has anyone noticed any type of Ham shift? I thought wearing armor reduced your HAM bar depending upon the encumberance, I noticed no such shift. Is this a bug? or am I not that observant, I also have never worn armor before and could be ignorant of some facet of armor wearing. Also, have sold reg suits at 50k although Im still not a master ( hate grinding ) and am achieving stats of 33 kinetic and 15 base. No resources for the advanced yet. Crafting these armors has invigorated me in the profession as I truely enjoy making the parts. Hmmm Ive gone on long enough, thought I am very pleased to be able to craft something I can finally wear.

Gotta say, I think this concept looks much cooler than the wicker-ware Scarecrow picture from the first one. Anyway, it is cool that they appear to be rolling this out so quickly. Opinions on this 2nd look for the Wookies?
