When there are no good resources spawning anywhere and you do not have any good stock left to make your good armor with.

Do you just wait it out because you are rich and can afford to wait it out?

Do you just make the best you can with what you haveto get by until the better resources come around again?

Has this scenario ever happened to any of you yet?

How do you keep production consistant when the resources you need to be are not?

Thank you for your time.

Stockpile like crazy when the good stuff is in..........

I have only 2 factories so I don't burn through the stuff as fast as some, the supply I have now will probably last me months.... Only problem I have is getting enough hides, and this never seems to be easy at any time...

Yea I agree with post above, when theres' something good out, abuse that spot (and if u have friends with lots they are not using, bring them to the party)

I have a decent stock now of iron/copper/petro/steel/gems that i can make good stuff, but its the hide that seems to be letting me down at the mo. Thats why im going CH as well, so i can jump out and kick the sh1t outta the beasties and not be depentdant on ppl.

I don't know how the rest of u feel, but i refuse to buy chems from ppl, so until it spawns i just wait and make the best i can.

You can always stockpile junk resources too, either sell them, or put them into fiber panels. Typically there is about one good resource per shift, you just need to go out and find it. There are a lot of resources armorsmiths need, and even if you don't make the armor now, you might someday, so stockpile. Also spend your time becoming good friends with hunters who like to harvest and don't use their lots

This is the setup that seems to work for me. My Master AS is on Farstar but I also play on Bria where I am holo grinding.I have friends on Bria make chars on farstar and hold all my factories and storage houses as well as my vendor house so that I have 10 harv lots for the times that good spawns do appear. If you don't have people from another server that you can really trust you can just hit the boards and offer to trade lots and just put your factories on them but don't use the factories for storage.

Once you start to make money with your armor, don't spend money on anything but resources that you MAY need when the spawns are dead.I also spend all the money I can buying resources from others even when the spawns are happening just so I have more of something than I think I will ever need. Before you know it you will have more resources than you can burn through in a dead spawn time and won't have to worry about those times.

As for the hides,if you find yourself running out then you obviously aren't spending enough time making friends with Rangers/Scouts/Hunters.My first month on farstar was spent grinding out AS and I did have some lean times on hides, but at that level it wasn't really much of a big deal. But once you get contacts that will constantly provide you with hides then you will have no problems.I also find that setting up a vendor just for offers and sending it to any rangers/scouts you may see in an email with an explanation of your hide needs and prices you will pay seems to work wonders in building that supply base.

Following all these points has me sitting on more resources and hides than I could burn through in a month or more and I also have more money in the bank than I need.It can be a slow process to get started, but if you keep at it then you won't be worrying about the dry times.
