Thread: What are the best type of looted components that can be used in Wookiee armor?

I've seen some nice sets of armor made with Rancor hides, but is this the best component (provides the largest increase in protection)?
What else can be used???

Given that this type of Wookie armor is largely kinetic-oriented, I'm thinking krayt scales are best for PvE. With them you can get a 4-10% boost to kinetic, which can make for some perfectly serviceable PvE armor.

I agree, krayt scales are the best, with Rancor hides being second. Remember that each type can be very good or very bad.

How many scales or hides will I need to make a complete set of armor?

you need 12 identical
-or-
4(identical) for the legs
3 identical for each arm
5 for the chest
Also if you have 6 identical you can make the legs and one arm. 5 for the two pieces and one for the schematic

also Krayt scales will have a kinetic rating to them. The higher it is the higher it will effect your armor.. Try to get it over 10 points
