I would suggest you go to chitin ..then ubese then padded and while your still grinding (if your grinding) make a couple of sets of each, put them on a vendor (real cheap!) and start buiding a following - most of your armor will go to newbies and as your armor gets better, and as they get more money your business will grow in Quality - not quantity.

You need to be aware of the materials for each so you can stockpile them if thats what you want to make.

To many people get to master armorsmith and still don't know how to make armor.

Sell your chitin for 1k a piece in all the colors (about 9) and you'll get someone buying it.

Good luck!

thank you silvertail,

as for mabari armor, do you have any recommendation to maximize whatever that I can get out of it?

at this point your mabari won't have a big change - you simply wont be able to make it really good because your experimentation points are low.

On a good side - even master armorsmiths can't get mabari to a good resist to buy it. It is purchanced because of the low ham and the Base of armor rating 1 (-25% to all damage done)

Even more importantly its created as a fashion statment - a great color combo in mabari will sell - they won't even look at the resists.

So my suggestion is to make really good color combos:

In addition make full black, full white, full green

Another question Silvertail, should I now start grinding and dump XP into tailor as well, or it's would be fine to purchase sythetic clothes and other tailor made stuff on Bazaar

I would not go into tailoring right now.

I would make friends with a tailor (a novice one with the skill will work)

ask him nicely to buy a schematic of it or would he/she be able to provide stuff for it.

I recommend that you collect the resources...walk up to a someone that can make it (cornet starport or look on the bizarre for object creater and send them an email) Tip them 5k to make you a schematic and you run it in your factory (assuming you have one)

If not expect to pay 3k+ per crate

Use junky materials for this -anything will do because fiber and syn cloth dont have stats.

so recap-

Grind armorsmith first - get a tailor friend

If you want to make stuff to sell on the way to master, go up the tech tree first. That's where all the experimentation points come from.

Make sure you keep an eye on the resources that spawn and start harvesting the good stuff. You'll thank yourself for doing it later. I'm sitting on about 100k of a good polymer that I got several months ago. Haven't seen any better since.
