I am fairly new to armorsmithing so bear with me please. I am making wookiee armor atm due to lack of resources for other types and made an initial run of about ten sets that hit 50% kinetic and 14% base. I recently got some better Endorian wood and Leathery hide and expected to see better all around results but I'm only hittin 56% kinetic and 15% base. How to I up the base effectiveness? Thanks!

Experiment on the effectiveness line.
Of course, this will leave you with fewer points to use on the special resist.

On the other hand, keeping that special resist in the 50+ category is more important than raising 15 base to 25 base or something like that. Let's face it, wookie armor is for PvE; if something is hitting you with anything other than kinetic damage, the difference between a 15% base and a 25% base is a couple hits or so. Basically, when wearing Ubese and Wookie, you don't want to fight things that will hit with anything other than kinetic because you're just not going to be well protected. So raise your base % simply for effect, but don't go below 50% on kinetic since that's what people are buying it for.
