The peko feather can be used in an RIS layer (like a stun or kinetic layer), which can be put into most armor types (ubese, padded, composite). It is supposedly low in HAM costs with an increase to the base effectiveness of the armor, so it doesn't move anything into the special protection.

I'm not sure, but I don't think it's worth it. Maybe someone that has made RIS layered composite could shed some light.

RIS layers (with the feather) can be used in any armor that can take a layer. A bit too expensive for my taste, BUt may do it later, I have a couple of feathers laying around.

I have a schem for -7/-6/-7 ham 3%( 3.28% actually)layers and already produced like 18.

Haven't tried to use them yet though. But at 250k/feather gonna be some expensive armor

Exactly, at 250k per layer, a triple layered segment would then go for 750k, meaning one chest piece would be coming in at around.....2.25mil....and the armor wouldn't be that high in BASE anyway. Although, if you got a good resist slice, you could have some high 70's resist, unbuffed-wearable armor. But probably easier to use nightsisters layers anyway. Higher base and still low ham.

Wait till the smuggler revamp, to when they can choose what type of slice they will get, cause an encumberance slice would be worthless withthis stuff.
