Thread: Wouldn't this be a good idea?

I was thinking that having one set of super strong, undefeatable armor was stupid. So I thought some more and wondered why they just didn't have a specific armor per type of damage? Wouldn't that make it alot more diverse than just having one set of composite with all 80% resistances? Then the Madalorian armor could be what composite isnow, and not have to worry about giving it special effects or what not

umm, they do work armor like that
ubese: kinetic
tantel, bone: energy
mabari: heat
padded: blast
composite: electrical

Hehe eyah, composite electrical, except a decent piece of sliced compo usually has higher resists in everything else (except stun) than it's "Special Resistance" electricity. The system made sense at first, but the stats are all off.
