Thread: Armorsmith/Doc or Armorsmith/Smuggler for Making Money?
I prefer Master Artisan/Master Armorsmith/Tailor 0/2/0/0.
That template will make you pretty self-sufficent to make all armors (except for Wookiee) and you'll have enough of the Business Tree to get you 2 vendors (maybe 1, can't remember since I'm a Master Merchant).
However, I'd like to point out that there's no real "crappy" slice. You may not get that high of a %, but all slicing improves armor in one way or another.
Yeah, cause I just picked up a second account to fund my first (and I have never used a crafter in this game tho). Was just looking for the best way to make money with least amount of time being put into it (Armorsmith will take alot of work tho, but I also hear it can pay the highest).
If I went doc, I know someone who already makes awsome components/buff packsand such, so that will be no problem.
Go with AS/Smuggler.
If you make this template:
Artisan 4042
Merchant 0003
Master Armorsmith
Master Smuggler
You'll be able to place5 vendors for selling your stuff. This means you could have 2 for encumbrance/effiency sliced composite, 1 for Ubese/Wookie and 2 for smuggler tools/spices if you wish.
But...
- You should find a tailor to make you schematics for reinforced fiber panels and synth clothes since you cannot make them yourself.
- Place your shop in in a spot with lots of traffic since you cannot advertise your vendors on the map.

For $$ go for the slicer, plus pick up enough tailor to make reinforced fiber panels(field wear II i think), and keep master artisan if you want to make PSG's.
Do you have more skillpoints than the rest of us?
