i have a retired AS friend that told me how to make 80% kinetic armor, so i followed that for a while.
yesterday i started chatting with another AS, who gave me a different approach to kinetic armor
using the exact same resources, but placing my experiment points a different way...i went from 60% base to 66% base!!!!!
i never thought that the way the points lay was that important!!
im stunned, and very very happy

well....dont put all your points into special resists on the layers, put some into base so that the end base is higher, if you fill the special bar, you waste them because its capped at 80, so any higher than that and your points are wasted

One word for you...
GLOVES.
It has been said many times over. Practice on GLOVES becuase they only take 1 segment and you can see the results on the rest of your armor without having to do a factory run to make identical segments. Gloves, gloves, gloves, gloves!!!!

i learned that too, which is how i knew when i was hitting the 80 kinetic cap too soon, so i could put more into base.

Well, you probably won't be hitting the kinetic cap on Kash armor atm, so I don't think I'd be too worried about putting everything in special. Hopefully one of the 2 new suits is a full 9 piece metal suit. That would make wookies look insane, like big mechafurballs.
