Im thinking about doing Armor smith. Not being Noisy but do Armor smiths make much money? Is it worth it?? Is there somthing better?? Thanks

Nah, we dont make hardly anything. Poor slobs we are. So, no it's not worth it. I would stick with what you got.

IT all depends on how much time you invest in it. I've heard of guys making 100+mil per week. Of course, they're running 9+ factories pretty much all the time. And I'm sure they have a deal with a resource vendor too.

If you're in it for the money, you probably won't enjoy it much. There are easier ways to make money.

Yeah Master Ranger/0001 Artisan/TKM.

Harvest resources (Keep as many lots available as possible for harvs, maybe cross-server trade for some static harvs) and get that hide! Actually Rangers pretty much always have some kind of resource they can harvest like mad, whether it be Herb meat for docs, Carnivore Meat for chefs/BE's, or Wooly Hide and Leathery Hide for armorsmiths. You sell the stuff at 10-15 cpu for good spawns, even more after the resource has died down (I'd kill for some good wooly on Kauri atm). Sell resources, make great cash, and when you don't feel like working that hard for it, just make sure your harvestors are on and running something, even grinding resources sell.

Yeah ive said it once, and ill say it again - Armoursmiths can make good money if youre in it for the long haul.

However, that involves a LOT of investment (sometimes you need to spend 8 million on resources for every 8.5 million you make) unless you get some very lucky spawns.

Additionally, theres a massive influx of new armoursmiths, and loads of established ones, jumping into such a market without some 'defining feature' to make you better than the rest is a sure fire sign of frustration as you realise youre being bled dry by resource purchases with nothing to show for it in return - if you dont buy in the top notch resources, you'll end up selling a sub-par product which no one will buy anyway.

if you have the resources you will make good money.

if you have crap resources you make crap money

if you have lots of good resources you make lots of good money

I have been at this a little while and have passed that break even point where is doenst kill me to spend 1-2 mill on resources (where before you really need stuff to sell before you can make more or buy more resources)

at 3cpu it will cost several mill of resources just to get to master, and if you arent master armorsmith you will have a hard time competeing
