Thread: Armor Segment Enhancement and Armor Layer: same thing?

I bet your talking about the nightsister layers? The Nightsisters have layers and shards the layer is like your crafted layer but better at 3 to 5% and at 5% better then we can craft and the shards go in the enhancement area.

Bone and Chitin use the Segment Enhancements. All the other armors use the Layers. At least on the crafting screen. Are these two the same thing? Can I slapArmor Layers in Bone and Chitin?

Nope, enhancers and layers are different components. Layers are the ones you craft that give extra resistance and move... oh, say, kinetic into the special. Enhancers are things like Jantaa hide and Voritor scales which add to the final combine of the armor. (The enhancers also move base resistances into the "special" category, which prevents them from being affected from an effectiveness slice, btw.)
