Thread: Factories that eat Schematics

Ok i'm just ya standard 10 point smith struggling to compete in the game. well i finally made 2 kinetic schematics worth using in factory runs. they were 2% base 6% kinetic and 3/3/3. well 44 hours later or 1.8 days, i go back and both factories ate my schematic. I can't tell u how much cake and port i used up making the two schematics. and i want to make a third run and poof the mfers are gone.
has this happened to anyone else????
I guess i just need to make another and move on but it just pisses me off that's all

umm did they make 1000 layers? because if they finished the run, then of course your schematics are gone... otherwise, check to see who else has admin... as i know my friends often take my stuff out and put in their tailor junk 
then they end up with the schematics. but my bet is this is your first experience with factories, and that you've done everything right, but you didn't know that once you make your schematic's limit the schematic will be used up.

no i didn't know that once it reaches limit it gets used up thanks for the info. that totally sux.
so if i set it to make 1000 and only put 999 resources in there can i use it again or am i only going to be able to make another 1 and it will go poof?

Each schematic can be used to make a max of 1000 items. They count down and the count stays with the schematic so stopping it at 999 doens't let you reuse the schematic.

you will get 1 and it will go poof.
it's their way of limiting the serial numbers. that way one perfect schematic can't be used for all the rest of your armor provided you have the resources.
