What types of rancors drop the rancor segment enhancements?

all rancors have a chance of dropping components, however you tend to get the better ones and more of them off enraged, bull, enraged bull and mutant rancors. At least this has been my experience with them

I killed over 20 enraged bull rancors and didn't get anything is that normal?

Ive read elsewhere that they are a rare drop.

I personally have killed only about 20-30 rancors ever and have never got rancor hide - got some bile once though

do an entire buff session on rancors and you will get plenty

5-10 rancors per lair is norm, and going through 20 rancors with no loot is norm.

I would think that you could kill tons in a typical buff session
