Question on these.

I know they are used instead of Chitin segments. Recently I looted 11 identical shells with a base protection of 27%.

AsI dont have the resources to make either chitin segments or armor, can someone answer are these any good ?

If they are I may well hold on to them until after the CU, if not then they can quit taking up my storage space.

yes they are quite good. generally i can make any chitin armor piece (except the helmet)with zero mind encumberance with those shells which is kinda handy for low level hunting without buffs. Save them for sure
