I have 8 kryat dragon composite armor segs with

Base effectiveness 10% and

Integrity 5000

they all have the same serial number.

what do they do. i mean i know they're used for armor, but how, and where do you use them? and are these worth anything?

Well on a whole not alot, the resists you will get from these are pretty poo, since any Armoursmith worth his salt can create composite segments of atleast 34% base effect. but they do have the added bonus of being easy on the encumbrance. Overall I don't rate looted segments, an armoursmith can do much better with looted hides. The best ones in my opinion are Rancor Hides as they not only plus the base they give 2 additional specials meaning that if you slice your piece and get an effect there is something to recieve the bonus unlike Krayt Hide which makes everything a special effect.
