i think it would be really cool to have armor color kits with 1-2 uses just like vehicle and droid customization kits. come on people, sign! red bh armor like some npc'shave would be really cool

i dont see imps being able to color armor.. and being in an army means haivng uniformed colors... so the color schemes wouldnt be varied very much...
and i believe something was alluded to this by TH or Tiggs a while ago

I would support it with the following specifics
no kits for faction armor
no kits for quest armors (RIS and Mando)
allow color selection for mandalorian when crafting it

I like the idea of color kits. But perhaps in the form of a loot piece that has to be "blended" or crafted by an Artisan or AS to make a color. The loot could be some sort of dye and during the crafting process for the kitthe crafter selects a color table (ie reds, blues, greens, etc.). Only a color from that table can be used.
Also, i dont like the idea of faction armor being colored at all. That would be goofy to see colored ST's running around.

This is perfect omg omg. And yeah, not for faction armour, unless we can add those sweet colored lines the clone troopers have on imp armour. But thats not clone armour anywho so nm heh. But yeah for mando and bh armour especially.

I like the idea but I think you need enough charges to change the color of a whole suit of armor. For armor with more than one color, this may take a lot.

those colors denote rank .. so maybe if they tied in faction armor color with faction rank...
that would be the most fun and RP and make use of rank finally
