Hello armorsmith community.
I, like many others am grinding out my FS skills by thowing grenades at a lair whilst standing inside the lair. Needless to say, this is very damaging to your armor. I was wondering if there was an armor typeless expensivethan composite that can have 60%+ blast resist. I'm running low on credits and my armor is nearly falling off me.

Padded armor can have 80% blast, but it's not exactly cheaper that composite.... And the condition will be lower, so all round not a very smart purchase. Your best bet is still to go with comp, possibly you can find a smith selling blast / kin layer comp.

ya, im making some kin/blast/stun comp now for the FS grinders and NS hunting. should be real popular.
blast layers cost more to make too, expect to pay more than would for straight kinetic

I charge the same for whatever layers go in.... Stun / energy / kin whatever.... Still Kin is the best seller....

Stun armor should be more expensive cus of sil blast is eaasy to make

You're each entitled to your opinions, but I charge based upon the materials that go into the armor... 5 more metal, 2 poly, and 3 intrusive=630 more inorganics over kinetic if you're doing triple layer... and I generally charge more for combo layered armor due to the experimenting time I have to put in to optimize my resources
