Thread: Krayt Composite Segments no longer dropping ...

I've probably beenpart of over 200Krayt kills since the "Krayt population explosion" went in a few weeks ago. We've looted pearls, tissues, and scales galore, but I just noticed the other day that we haven't looted a single Krayt Composite segment.
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and if it might be related to the problem of RIS components not dropping, as well.
It's odd, because I've heard reports of other looted segments like Acklay Hides, Kliknik Shells, Kimogila Scale Segments and the like dropping ... and the Krayt scales are dropping too, but no Composite segments.
Just found it odd.

The RIS drops are fix, on my server at least. Krayt segments not dropping is weird though.

I can confirm for you that segments are not dropping. in the past 2 weeks i have killed roughly 150 Krayts and besides tissues and pearls and the occasional scales no segments at all.
Havent seen a single GDK scale drop in awhile though. My friends killed exactly 145 GDKs and hasnt gotten 1 scale. Ris schematics and such dropping though

I personally can not confirm this, but I've been told by multiple people on my server that they are dropping again.

I haven't seen any Krayt Dragon Composite Segs or RIS components drop. But I am running out of spots to store Dragon Scales.

I would be perfectly happy to never again receive another tell offering me krayt scales for sale... I'm to the point where i will set up an answer macro...

Very true haven't looted any krayt segments.. but then again who cares they were rubbish anyway.. lol

I agreee most krayt sements but the good ones are uber!!
30% base upwards are usable in my opnion as the ycan make 67% up on kette..
THe best thing about krayt segs is elec in base and the damn high condtion these things come with :-)

My personal opinion was that any Krayt Segments 25% or higher were worth keeping. Not only is the condition crazy, but the HAM costs are exceedingly low, too.

I had some 33% krayt segm. and made very nice chest plate - after slice all res. was 87% , health about 205, and 40+k condition.

Ive noticed this too, not a single segment has dropped since patch 13. Usually I wouldnt mind as it just takes up inventory room but now im looking to get some nice compo armour made.
