Thread: Anyone make 80% Ubese using scales

I've started collecting/buying krayt scales. With the current dragon spawn rate they are rather plentiful these days. Has anyone tried using them in Ubese to bump it to 80%kin and tried to have to sell it on a regular basis. The scales are very cheap these days, so it shouldn't add too much to the cost of a suit.
Do you think there will be enough interest to make it worth the time it will take?

Ive made a few 80% kinetic healms using krayt scales - non sold as yet.
Not sure if it is worth the effort tbh

I used to do this for my character mainly. It is nice for small orders and such, but after awhile, it becomes a pain to keep running back and forth from the factory making a few segments at a time.
If you really don't mind that, perhaps you should consider taking custom orders so your customers can get the colors they want, I find that is a nice option when dealing with ubese.

Too much hassle not enough gain, getting an extra 4% on resist for a separate factory run for each pc of armor is not worth the time put into it. I think you might have a better use for scales for the CURB. The way the armor is describe. Special protection is always going to be higher that base protection. And Krayt scales has the most plus to special protection out of all the amor enhancers.

what i do for bulk identical loot is put all the ingredients on one factory (including loot) and select a schematic everytime i run by it.... easy way to make 100 enhanced segments.
this is on a factory right infront of my house, i dont pay much attention to the time... just turn it on when I swing by.

I used to make 80% ubese using voritor and krayt scales, as special orders for jedi under the old jedi system, when all they did was kill many many rancors, and could wear armor.
As others have mentioned, its just not worth the hassle however - the 3% gain just isn't worth the pain of making all those schematics and tending the factory for all the sets of segments.
As novelty pieces, they're fun, but I'd recommend notbothering for longer-term supply
