Thread: RIS drops are STILL bugged, no word from devs yet

Currently, GDK scales, woolamander bone frags, and gurk king hides are NOT dropping at all, as loot. This has been mentioned to the devs, but there has not been a reply yet on this issue. No need to ask if it's fixed yet cause it's NOT.
Can we stickie this? And maybe unsticky when it's fixed? Or I'd be happy to edit it.

Funny, I just left the RIS quest shack with the order to make the boots. I only had one woola bone to start the quest and the old man took the segment from me after I made it. Now, I have to make the boots and don't have anymore bone fragments.
I sent a bug report about the loot standing next to the quest house.

I could be wrong, but if I'm reading your post right, you lost the segment to the old man and now have to make the boots.
He is supposed to take the first segment you made, as he was to take the layer (2nd part). You have to re-find another bone and hide to make the segment that will then be used to make the boots.
If I'm reading your post wrong, my apologies

No that is correct. He did take the segement and the layer once I competed them and then showed them to him. I understand that to be normal for the quest. As you have stated, I now have the boot quest and must get another woolamander bone! The only trouble is they aren't dropping!!!
SO, if you are on Kauri and want to sell a bone to fledgling armorsmith trying to complete the RIS quest, please email or tell arden.
On the other hand, just send a bug report and ticket on the issue. They need to be made aware how improtant this is toe the armor crafters at large.

Can we stickie this post? My main goal was for there to be a post that everyone could see saying that RIS drops are bugged and that asking again and again was pointless.

Hey all, have you noticed that when you try to loot some of the woolamander Harrows it doesn't work. IE trying the double-click them gets nothing, same with /loot and /lootAiCorpse ... The only way to get the "you find nothing more of value on the corpse" is to use the radial menu and go all the way to Loot All option. Of course you get nothing.
So, I'm wondering if these are the ones that have the loot on them. Guess I'll never know because it's bugged. If this is the case, I'd have 20 bone frags by now! arf!
On a side note I did hear that the devs have said it is a "known" issue which is some good news. Maybe today we'll see a ninja fix but I don't think so.
