Thread: Novice armoursmith needs help!!!

hi, ive just started the novice armoursmith profession and after reading some posts decided to start making some mabari to sell on the bazaar while i train my skills. I recieved a synthetic cloth schematic from a helpfull tailor but then found that i cannot get durascisis, the lubricating oil component needed on any planet at the minute. can anyone point me in the right direction as i seem to be stuck before doing anything. i cant make the synthetic cloth needed and i am struggling to find anyone who can sell it to me in crates. any help is appreciated here or by email in game to garben on bria server and thanks to all in advance

bria should have plenty of tailors who stock crates
also
best way to do it is get all the resources you need for the cloth and then have the tailor make the cloth with your materials.
Or....go to swgcraft.com and find where the lube oil is.
Or....go to the bria trade forums and ask there

well this is the problem you see, on the schematic it tells me which lube oil i need but then after surveying every planet on bria i find that it isnt available anywhere at minute. so then i try buying it and someone sold me duraoscisis instead of durascisis!(my fault should have checked what i was buying, only excuse is im new to using schems and made a mistake). ive now contacted about 15 tailors of which ive had replies from 2 to tell me they arnt tailors anymore 
and ive searched vendor stocks till im thinking that droid engineer doesnt look so bad after all
. if any of you know someone with crates of this cloth for sale please ket me know im getting desperate after 2 days searching for it

It's probably some old resource that spawned months ago and you will never find.

Get 16016 units of any Fiberplast and 4004 units of any Polymer. Take those to any Tailor (including Novice Tailors!) and give them 16 Fiberplast and 4 Polymer. They can make a Schematic with 1000 Uses on it. You plug that into a Factory and then drop the remain 16k Fiberplast and 4k Polymer into the Input Hopper and turn that factory on. That's how you should do it if you're not a Novice Tailor.
If you have the 20 Skill Points available, get Domestics IV and Novice Tailor. Then you'll only need to buy Reinforced Fiberplast Panels and the padding for the Wook Ceremonial from Tailors. Getting the General Crafting XP should be easy, just make a lot of Personal Harvesters and then dump them on the bazaar for new players. Problem solved!

Thanks for the replies, and thanks ninja think i understand the schematic system a bit better now.
