You get approx 2 xp for every resource used in the crafting of the item, not counting the components.

370xp for Mabari Chest

360xp for Chitin Chest

Not to mention Chitin requires 4 Identical Segments per Chest Piece and Fiberplast Panels and Reinforced Fiberplast Panels. So you'd need a 0200 Tailor (Field Wear II) instead of just a Novice Tailor.

I have just started the armorsmith proffession and would like to know if i get more xp for making chitin armor than marbari.

i get 400xp approx for each mabari chest plate made , and would like to know if it's much more for different types.
