One of my heroic guildmates was involved in the slaying of the Acklay at the Geo Caves, and looted the schematic for the Interwoven Bone Armor, which looks very good and I'm going to try to create a set (or two).
But, it's a temporary schematic and you only get 5 uses, which leaves little opportunity to learn from it before crafting.
So, has anyone attempted/succeded in making some of this? I'm sure there will be a few armorsmiths out there who would appreciate a little advice, especially me.
Such as, what difference do the cubes make? and is there a 'preferred' color to use? are some layers more effective with this armor than others?
I read through JaatoWaals guide but it doesn't get much of a mention, any chance of an update?
Thanks in advance,
Jim-Bob Revan

Ok here is what I did. I crafted 1 seg out of the schem to see if this armor was anymore special than regular bone. it really isn't. Still has the same vuln, but now you can put 2 layers in.
The S.P. on bone is energy. The base is restraint and something else. My first run got me 35% energy with like a 19% base.
I waited a while on some good yavin animal bones and ran a factory run of 13% energy layers. Once I gotsome goodbones I decided to throw in some green cubes. I did this because bone armor has the worst condition. Some 8300 Green cubes will help that though. I also threw in some Krayt scales with 9% energy resists.
My final product had 80% energy resists and only stun as a vulnerability. It's a novelty item. Just for show for me.
P.S. I found this funny. Master AS is required to make a good segment. If you are not a master artisan your bone armor will not be so great because you won't have all the experimentation points.

Yup, I did somehting very similar to what was done above.
I am 4104 in Artisan, so could only experiemnt mine up to 76 energy with (95% expt bar) energy layers and very high quality resources. If I had the extra artisan experimentation from being a master, I would have hit 80 energy no problem. The encumbrance is extremely low, and I also used green cubes to boost the condition. Remember to do a factory run of segments to save the limited uses. If you are not a master artisan, you may want to have a friend who is do the final combine for you, using your ingredients and segments.

Don't have to be a master artisan. All of the experimentation points are in 4/4/0/0.
