Hello,

I am a resource provider on Bria... some would say i am THE resource provider on Bria. I host the site www.nickschale.us/hound (clicky in sig).

If you could take a quick second to look what i have done on the minerals tab in introducing the formula for architects. This was a test to see how it would look. It is really the only formula I am 100% certain on and am pleased with the results.

I would like to do the same for all the professions. Though I cannot list formulas for ever (would like to have the chart fit on a 1028x768 screen) I would like to have at least a couple formulas from the key professions.

So what i ask for your 'votes' (for lack of a better word) I would like to see your two TOP formulas. What would be helpful to see in a chart like mine. To use the arch formula as an example, here is what a post would read:

"Hound - This formula is a must for Archs. HR+SR+UT+UT... and it has to be equal or greater than 3600! It is used on d$mn near all structure creations. [then insert a second choice] [then maybe any comments]"

Clear as mud ?

It is my goal to continue to growby helping my customers more every day

a wee problem on this would be resources that are gated..

For instance we love ores that are oq+sr 1850 and up while a kiirium steel of 1450 up would be extremely nice for us
I can say the best weve had on kette is 1378.
What really is needed to know if a resource is good is some history on how reources have been before.

hmm, that seems to be more of a 'pricing' issue for me though. How it ranks in history should determine the value, and of course I think it may be common knowledge that swgcraft.com is the place for checking histories. (although i wonder if they would mind a link from my 'home' frame)

The two formulas you have are great though, i can have the formulas JUST show up on the ore's and steels. I guuess it would be kiirium only though huh.

there is a great post on the crafts forum about resource caps

though some are not entirely upto date (the new Sili ore comes to mind)
http://swgcraft.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9957

that might help you with the formulas :-)

all resources really are oq+sr(resists)
secondmost used is oq+ma (encumb)
third oq+ut (condition)

then its jsut checking the caps for the resources and choosing something in the high end. Might want to check history and find out what has spawned so you know that you arent setting it too high or something

Perfect. thats what im looking for. since minerals is the 'widest' spreadsheet i may only get one formula in there so it may have to be the OQ+SR

In general i try and contact a few AS to get a good / fair price estimate before i post some stuff.

Thanks for you input! More suggestions on how i can make the site better for you guys keep'em comming
