Hello,

Im a Novice Armoursmith getting really close to Master (and sadly ive just been doing grind macro when i dont have time to go out and hunt) and i dont know much about actually making armour. So, ive been talking in the other forums about whats good and how resource spawns work, but im still confused. i know that each resource has like 6 different stats to look at.

I assumed that Overall Quality was the important one to look at, but when i went hunting for bone that had +900 Overall Quality and tried to use it in simple Bone armour, the little bar was only about 3/4 the way full, and it was yellow. On the other hand, i found some 800 Overall Quality Hide, and when i put it in the Bone armour, the little bar was about 3/4 the way full and it was Green.

MY QUESTION IS, ------ what are the stats that are most important to look at (like best to worst), and is that little bar that fills up when you add your resource even worth looking at?

All the help you can give me will be well apprciated.

bone armor=artisan armor (no armor experimentation or xp)

OQ and SR= the resists of your armor

MA= the HAM (how heavy it is)

UT= condition (how many points of condition it has)

to start just look at OQ+SR try to get OQ+SR>1800 with everything if possible. Some resources are gated and you wont get that high but get the combo down

so.....

500oq 900sr stuff is better that 999oq 100sr for getting your resists up

ignore all other stats like PE, DR, CD

OQ also determines HAM and condition. It's 50% of everything I believe.
