Hello all I'm on my way towards become a master armorsmith and I have just one question for when i get there. Would it be better to specialize in comp/wookie/ubese armor or comp/wookie/padded armor. Which do you think would have more benifits for sales. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Comp/Wookie/Ubese will sell more and is easier to factory produce. The problem with Padded is that everyone wants different colors so you have to handcraft every suit. The other armors you can make large factory runs of and rake in the cash.

Ubese is easy, Black or White, the same with wookiee armor. Comp, they can make it any color they want.
For some reason though, people like the other armors in funky colors. Youcould specialize in just one of them and make a bunch of different colors, butyou may end up doing some custom jobs for people that like pink

I have not decided where I want to specialize. Right now I am moving a lot of ubese as I stock up for comp and padded. I will probably do factory runs of a default padded as well as taking custom orders.
Big problem I have right now is the Lokian leather and Yavinian Wooly have sucked for a while on Intrepid.

Padded is a real pain to make at all, and an even bigger pain to make it even decent. If you do go with padded, good luck, you are going to need it.

Not only is Padded Armor a pain to make, it requires precious wooly hide to go into the Padded Armor Segment.
Most Armormsiths (including myself) rather save all of their good wooly for Composite Armor.

I tried to find some info about this but didn't see it anywhere.
I am a new mayor of a city I inherited. The city has a specialization that I don't want but I can't seem to remove it. When I try to from the radial menu it won't let me do anything because I don't have skills. Is there another way to remove it? The city is a ghost town now and I hate paying for something that I won't use for awhile.
Thanks

I don't believe you can change it until such time as you ahve the skills to do so. Changing also equals removing, I'm afraid.
