So I made a padded armor belt, (I've been trying my hand at padded armor and I thought I'd make a belt), and it took the place of my psg. It also has 23% resistance across the board...
Do these belts actually work? Do they protect against anything or is it another 'bug' in the system.
If I had to guess I'd say they don't work. But why guess when I have a team of masters that can help out.

I had a few padded armor segments left over from my last run of padded armor.
So i decided to make a belt, because i never made one before.
I noticed that the belt had armor stats, and no vulnerabilities at all.
I know many pieces of armor say they have LS resists, but really dont.
But what im trying to figure out is why have resists on a belt? Does this belt act like a PSG?
What is the purpose of the belt?
Do all the resists work on the belt?
My first belt was bad due to type of segments i made ( 80kin 51 base padded ), im sure if i played with it i can hit 40-50 base stats. My first time around was 25ish for base.
But i dont see how a belt would protect you unless it acts like a psg or offers extra protection to hest/pants.
Any info here would be helpful.
Thanks

belt does not protect
however, if you use say...an acklay hide, you now have a belft with 20-50k condition instead of 1k condition. Nice to put attachments into, that is about all

i prefer using many psg with real protection, and put attachments somewhere else

Hmm.. mabari belt: infinite condition, accepts AAs, 4 sockets
uber padded belt: 50k condition: accepts AAs, hopefully 4 sockets
tough call
I do think the padded belts look cool though.
