I am a relatively new armorsmith and need some assistance in finding which of my resources need to be updated in order to get that 70% base everyone is shooting for. Here is what I got so far. Listed as OQ/SR, not worried about MA currently.

3 kinetic layers 4% base/5% kinetic

874/627 gemstone - Weak link? I am ending up with 84% experimentation on the base after combine

921/923 metal

948/864 polymer

Advanced Comp Segment 33% base/12% electric/16% kinetic

982/744 polysteel

870/687 colat

910/575 kiirium

Comp Gloves

819/979 intrusive ore

797/900 or 825/880 aluminum - Didn't notice any difference with either aluminum

990/793 naboo fiberplast

942/483 beyrllius copper

833/809 wooly hide

802/868 petro fuel

I finish with 80% kinetic/80% electric and 67/68% base depending on what piece is made. What should I concentrate on to get that base up those 2 points I need? Thanks everyone and I have to say armorsmtih is a blast being my first crafting profession.

gemstone, colat, aluminum, wooly and petro could be better.

try to get your hands on some 900+ petro... should bump you to 70 as it makes up a major amount of the combine

better colat would work too

Well from my experience I would say your weak on petro and then maybe your gemstone and colat iron. But since petro is used as a MAIN component along with intrusive ore on final product that would be your best bet for overall improvement.

I must say am jealous of resources on your server. many are much better than our best. But we did get lucky and get a 990 OQ petro and an intrusive ore with OQ+SR> 1950. So what we lack in overall good resources we make up in these two. Once these spawned i was able to hit 70% easily even with wooly at 1600, naboo fiber at 1600, ber. copper at 1150, etc, which are worse than what you posted. So I would say you are very close just see what you can dig up on your server and bump up a little here and there and you will definately reach it.

Thanks again guys. Thanks for giving me some names Squran, gonna be hard to track down the oheld wooly though, might have to wait until another good spawn. Now I just need to get that +22 armor experimentation to stick on that tape

id say its about the segment

they should have 34% or 35% base

thats what made me hit 70%

Thats why I said he could resolve this with his colate or petro.

If I was in his shoes I'd try to find better colat... much easier and cheaper to grind segments for 34-35% base and 10-11% ele, than to grind armor to 90-91% final product.

dak.. use oheld, ovoriam, teilane, and teaciite ... everything else is pretty much really close to server max

also dont puta point into kinetic.. if you can already hit 68% base.. then leave kinetic untouched and max out base than the last point or two into encumb
