My only guess would be it is a client side hack. I've seen screenshots of people in mando before but they stated that it was a hack and only they or anyone else could see the change. There used to be a light saber hack on the jedi forums that did the same thing (making a sword look like a light saber) it was pretty cool but only I could see it.

that's what it is. it's just basically telling the game ON YOUR system to change lets say... bone armor 3d models into Mandalorian Armor 3d models. Only you and the other people who have installed the "hack" can see it. Of course tho, it's only graphical. If you change crappy 15% bone armor into mando and expect to be boba fett... talk to me after you get killed by that chuba.
Plus, I mean, if you read the latest "state of the game" letter, as of like 2 days ago, the Mando won't be in the game until "patch 11ish" - and that's if we're lucky.
...also... don't you think that the people in the conversation would be a *little* more excited than "hey i got 2 missions" if someone put a FULL suit of the rarest armor ever in their room? I think i'd be going a teeny bit ape**edit**.

'oh thats cool i got two missions.. but they arent in the same direction, still cool tho'
