Like many people I have spen much of my time trying to make the highest protection armor with Ham being almost secondary. I did mess around a bit tonight with Comp trying to make some low Ham stuff that still offers resists worth wearing and was wondering if anyone else had done the same and what there results were.

My results so far:

Made with 23%base 7/7/8 HAM ADV triple 0/0/0 Energy layered Segments

Suit 1 Suit 2

7Points into HAM, 4Points into Base MAX HAM, 2Points into Base

46% Energy 42% Electrical 45% Base 46% Energy 42%Electrical 40% Base

Gloves/Arms 25/23/27Gloves/Arms 25/22/25

Boots 26/39/27Boots 25/37/25

Legs59/133/27 Legs 58/125/25

Helm 25/23/223Helm 25/22/210

Chest186/54/27 Chest 175/52/25

Total HAM421/ 364/ 439Total HAM 408/ 346/ 410

I also made a Suit with Base 26% 11/11/13 segments, and exp maxing out HAM then rest into resiststhatresulted in a43%base that had HAM 437/ 379/ 454. Clearly the other two made with a lower base and HAM segment came out better.

Any one else with Low HAM input/ and or ways I might decrease the HAM further without using NS shards etc..?

I did some experimenting with standard comp armor - it has lower resists in the segments - but can also get much lower HAM....

With a triple elec. 0/0/0 layers, you can get a 11 base, 16 elec 2/2/2 HAM segment with good quality metal, would be interesting to see what you could do with the overall suit with that....

Great idea J,

I will try working with the same layers and non-adv segments..
