Thread: What is a special protection???

What makes it special? It can't be sliced. It is a static number. They should make special protection either Medium or heavy armor rating. This would make it worth putting stats in this category. What do you all think?

The idea makes sense but I don't think armor needs to get more powerful.
Imo Special Resists makes sense for everything but composite and RIS and it did make sense for composite too back when the base was lower.

Btw, special resist is not a static number. What do you mean by that? It has a cap but that's all.

What I mean by static is that once it is there, it can't change (by slices).
