Just wondering what other armorsmiths can make. Highest I have seen on Blood is 75 unsliced with out hide or scales.

Im betting that person used electricity layers for that 75%. Alot of people do that. You might want to take a look at the HAM.

75%? Best I've heard was 74% on nerf day with energy layers. I think Chik made that stuff.

Im getting 60-62% using kinetic layers I imagine if a decent spawn of Nabooin fiberplast and beryillus copper comes around again , Ill be able to bump it up a bit, the rest of my resources are over 900.

I can get 69 if I triple layer it with +4 base on all the layers, 75 without layers is not possible. All my resources are very very good. Mostly 900+ oq and Shock

highest possible is 70% base, that is with layered protection. Agree with earlier post, 75% base was only for one day during new experiementation rules which were rolledback the following day.

How can you calculate what the maximum resistance should be for a pair of composite gloves with a simple composite armor segment (no additional resistance layers)? I've just started and am only able to get 37% with my gloves using 10 experimental pts. Using gloves to understand composite crafting with minimal resources. How can I improve this? My resourcesseem reasonable... copper and plast are somewhat low. Any help here? Advanced composite segment? Do one experimental point at a time? The typical composite my other character has generally sees from 50-60% on these stats.... any help would be appreciated... also would be willing to trade Wooly Hide (OQ 941, SR 957) for other good components on Lowca. Thanks again...

wow, that's great hide.
adv. segments will boost you 10% off the bat.. also, use layers to boost your % as well.

right now, i can get 80% kinetic, 69% base, and i had a chest sliced to 90%base..

intrepid got an amazing spawn of phrink alum awhile ago (rements of it are selling for 25 to 40 cpu now) and thus just about every armorsmith is hitting 80% whatever (ive seen kinetic, energy, electricity, acid, heat, just about everything) with good ham too. whats developing now is like 70% kinetic + 27% or so stun. its damn good stuff.

currently with 3 resources OQ/SR added up to 19xx I can do 72%
